I work on a variety of creative projects, and this website brings all those different aspects of my work into one clear space, all wrapped up into a "BY Suzanne Loots" bow. This website is a reflection of what I do and what I can do. Whether it’s photography, art, or conceptual gifts, each project represents a part of who I am, whilst incorporating who you are into my creative process. WELCOME!

You can buy almost anything, yes, but what I've found is that our gifts to others often don't capture how we truly feel about them. And the only thing that might truly express how thankful we are for the humans in our lives is if the gift was made especially for them. I love humans expressing their appreciation for other humans and would, therefore, love to craft the perfect custom gift for your loved ones.
When you book a shoot with me, it’s all about you—your personality, your ideas, and the creations that inspire you. My goal is to capture your story in a way that feels genuine and artistic. I specialise in natural, documentary-style photography that focuses on interesting compositions and expressive edits. Each image is an intentional piece of art designed for your unique vision and project.
The portfolio that you see here is a mixture of all the work that I do. For wedding and engagement content visit:
Ah, art... what a love I have for you. It's difficult to pinpoint the type of art that I create, there is no solidifying medium (although stay tuned, that might be changing) or style. However, one thing that is a golden thread is that the art that I create is highly conceptual. I think about most things and, I feel pretty much everything and my art, in whatever form, is a way for me to process that but also to genuinely have fun
[Yes, I do commission work!]
While this website doesn’t have an official section for my educational work, I believe it deserves mention. I am passionate about education in South Africa. I won't tell you all about it here, instead you can watch this video that I made after completing my PGCE. Although, somewhat (some will say completely - but let's not listen to them) utopian it captures my most sincere wishes for our students and our educators.
If you are an educator... here's a little something for you
