This artwork symbolises the homes for orphaned and vulnerable children within PEN’s youth programs. These homes serve as a nurturing 'nest' where children receive the support and encouragement needed to grow and eventually achieve independence. The use of Nespresso pods in this piece represents this concept: like the pods, which come in a variety of flavors, forms, and intensities, each child possesses boundless potential to become whatever they aspire to be. Despite any hardships they may have faced, these children are never without hope or purpose.
