One day, I received a call from Aninca in Australia with an exciting request: could I create a meaningful “thank you” gift for her boss? My answer was a resounding YES! During our phone conversation, Aninca shared how her boss, Tracey, had been a guiding light through some of the most challenging years of Aninca’s life. The more I learned about Tracey—a compassionate leader who embodies the true meaning of love and care—the more I felt like even I wanted to send her a gift!

Together, Aninca and I decided on an embroidered notebook as the perfect gift: something special yet practical. From there, I got to work designing. Since both Aninca and Tracey work in the veterinary field, I wanted the design to reflect their shared passion. And so, I met the lovely fibroblast cell - a key contributor to the formation of connective tissue that ultimately aids in the healing of wounds on/in our bodies - and knew it was perfect.

I used a microscopic view of the cell and linked each part of its structure and function to the emotional healing process.  And so, a hand embroidered fibroblast notebook came to be! This gift reminded me of the impact we have on each other—how acts of love and kindness ripple across the globe.
Did this give you a fun new idea for a gift but you have no idea how to execute it?
Let me know & we'll work it out together!
