Miané and Danie met on the 25th of July 2020 at Menlyn Park Shopping Center. On the 16th of December 2022 Danie asked Mia if she'd like to spend the rest of her life with him. He asked her in front of an elephant, an animal who has played a significant part in Mia's life. Of course she said YES! This illustration was designed for them as a wedding gift capturing the location where their story, or "saamlooppad" (as they call it), began!
